A Trip to Little Rock

I get the priviledge every so often to go to Little Rock with Tina Jones. It is always a lot of fun. I enjoy being with her and her sweet kiddos. Tina and David have always impressed me. They are so sweet together. How they handle Breanna and everything that goes on with her, it amazes me. They have such a special relationship with the Lord. It is so neat to watch them. We went to Little Rock for a check up for Breanna. It is such an eye opening experiance to go to Childrens hospital. It really makes you thankful for what you have,little things like: good health, a healthy and WHOLE family, the ablility to walk, speak, hear, and see. I take so many simple things in life for granted! There are so many people out there that don't have those abilities. But, these same people are some of the sweetest you will meet. Little kids you pass in the halls, sitting in whelchairs, they just smile at you. Content with their life. What if we, having so much more in this life, could be so sweet and content? Thank you Lord for the everyday, simple blessings! Lovin' my life! ~me

Potatoes and Tomatoes & Duano and Jordan

Jordan and I took Duane out to eat for his 24th birthday last night. We had a lot of fun. Duano and Jordan make me laugh when they are together. :) I, as a girl, have often wondered what guys talk about when they hang out. Now I know. They talk bout food!! :P they talk about other things too, but mostly food. Its so funny! They have come to the conclusion that if we eat potaTOES then we should find the Pota and eat it instead of its toes, cause a pota is bound to taste better than it's toes! And same thing with tomaTOES. Yep they are a bunch of crackers! haha but they are good entertainment! It was a lot of fun. We laughed a lot. :) Lovin' my life! ~me

Purlins

:) We have a bunch of purlins that are bent, so Jordan is having to cut the bend out and put them back together. We need 30, he has done 7. 23 left!!! This is what we have been doing for the past several days. Lovin' my life! ~me

He is a sweet dog though. I usually am not very fond of dogs, but i like Twix.

We worked on the land yesterday and have it all ready for dirt work. I'm excited!!

We got there at 7:30, and took down the fence, then we picked up all the wood we are saving, and moved all the little scrap pieces of metal.
It doesn't sound like we did much, but it took all day! haha

Gloves make a lot of difference when you are trying to role up barb wire... in case any of y'all didn't already know that.

Attitude

Was a spelling word i had today. I find myself having an "Attitude" a lot. Its something I'm constantly trying to improve. One of my biggest attitudes is toward spelling. If anything can get me upset it is spelling. I'm not very good at spelling words correctly.(I'm sure you have noticed) I struggle with knowing which letter is suppose to go where. I usually just miss a word by one wrong letter. It aggravates me to no end! But, if everything in life was easy, how would I learn and grow? Speaking of spelling and school, I have 7 days left in math! I have about a month left in Language and History and Spelling. THEN I AM DONE!!!! YAY!!! I am sooo ready to be done with school! My graduation is April 30th. Its so weird to have my wedding almost completely planned and then try to plan a graduation. haha a little backwards huh? Oh well.

We are going to go clean Grandma's house today. She has been really bad sick and is still to weak to clean such a large house by herself.

So, I had a busy fun day today! I cleaned out my car with Amy. It looks nice now! It was really dirty. Then i went and feed with Jordan. Then we went to get Jordan's Scamp to go fishing.

It took all day to get it ready. We went to get the scamp, then to get a trolling moter, then to put Jordan's check in the bank, then to get a battery, then to get a drink at Sonic(witch we got for free!) then to go finally go fishing! We got to Tig's lake at 5:56. We fished for bout an hour. Nope, didn't catch anything. But, we had lots of fun! After that we went and picked Manda up.. and went to Their Grandma's (Jordan's Dad's mom). We ate supper and then played phase ten. Jordan won. I drank coffee. Jordan's Grandma makes the best!! It was a really fun day!

a Wedding Stuff Update

I got the material for the brides maid dresses! YAY!! SOOO excited! Mrs. Diane sewed a sample of the dress and i really liked it! I think they are going to turn out nice. Thats one more thing off my to do list! :) I bought my veil yesterday. i like it lots! Next we need to measure the groomsmen and get their tux and ties ordered. Then some decoration stuff, and i think we are almost done. I never thought it would go as smoothly as it has gone. It has been a fun experience. :)

Blessings

I am a very blessed girl. In SO many ways. I think of that song "Count your many blessings, name them one by one, count your many blessings see what God has done..." If i tried to count ALL my blessings I would be here all day long. But I will name a few.
I am so blessed with my family. I love the fact that I can walk up to my teenage brothers and give them a hug! We have times where everybody comes in mine and Amy's room and we just talk. What a huge blessing!
I am Blessed with the most wonderful man ever! He is my best friend, he makes me smile and laugh. He always knows how to encourage me when i'm down. He is such a smart, loving, great man, and i am so glad God brought me him.
I've also been blessed GREATLY with my wedding. People have blown us away with their generosity and giving hearts. It is so humbling to be given so much. I don't deserve any of it! I'm very very thankful for it though. I hope i can bless others just as much as i've been blessed.

There are so many more that i could list, but it would make this post really long. :)

A Day.

Jordan and I have been Feeding the cows for Dad, while he is at Nationals with the boys. Well Yesterday we went to feed, and the cows were mixed together. It was awful! Why is it all the BAD things happen when we are put in charge? haha... So we decided to try to get them separated. Well that really didn't work to well and kinda got us both aggravated. So we just left them together. Then we went and finished all the feeding. Dad had asked Jordan to take the big feeder to the feed mill and get if filled. So we did that, and it took forever! We wanted to go see The Grace Card with mom and Amy at 4 at the Malco. We were still at the feed mill waiting on the guy to load the feeder at 3. I was beginning to get really grumpy by this time. I needed to shower before we left, and i wasn't going to have time. We got home at 3:30. I changed and put on LOTS of perfume. haha. well then we couldn't find anything for Jordan to wear. His clothes were nasty. This made me even more grumpy.. and poor Jordan got the blunt of it. We ended up leaving the house to go to the movie at 3:39. It takes a good 30 minutes to get to the Malco. I was not happy. We ended up getting to the movie at 4:20. we missed the previews and very beginning. It wasn't to bad. haha. It was a great movie! I highly recommend it!

Then we went and ate at Cheddars. That was fun. Then we went to savers and got Amy some scrubs for work. The lady that checked us out asked mom if she was over 55. Mom was like.. DO i look like I'm over 55?! haha Then we went to Bruams and ate ice cream. Jordan and I ate a peanut butter shake. Then to Wal mart. You can't go to Ft. Smith without goin to Wal mart. haha.. then home. In all it was a good day.

Barns, Gloves, Fires

So, Jordan and I are planning on building a house. Jordan has some land in Branch where his family lived before their house burned down. Well anyhow, before we can start building we had to take down the old barn that was there. We tore it down board by board. Jordan would knock a board down and i would carry it to a pile.. over and over again. It took us several days, because we could only work on it at nights after Jordan got off work and on Wednesdays, and Half a day on Saturday. This past Saturday we got it all done, and we burned all the wood i had piled up. It made me very happy!!

I learned some things taking that barn apart:
1.GLOVES ARE GOOD!! yes, you would think i would of been smart enough to get gloves BEFORE i carried old wood and sheet metal.. but, I'm not. I know its awful. My hands didn't like me for awhile. :)
2. Fire must be used wisely. As i watched that big pile of wood i had stacked burn away, It reminded me of watching Jordan's house burn down. It also made me think of hell... and that that fire there is going to be so hot that it's going to be pitch black. Jordan told me that the hottest part of a fire is clear. Thank you Jesus i don't have to go there! On this earth fire can be used for good. Like a simple bon fire. Or bad. Like houses burning down.
3. I also learned that i can work hard! well, i kind of already knew that. But it got reinforced! :) oh and working with Jordan is a lot more fun then by myself. :)

So After we were done, Jordan took me on a date! We went to the Mexican place in Charleston ( i can't remember it's name.) it was very yummy. I looked like a mess. I was wearing one of Dad's work shirts and some old torn jeans, and a hat. My face was dirty and my hands were stained. AND i smelled like smoke. I didn't care to much tho cause i was HUNGRY! I would of never thought i would go in a restaurant looking like that. haha

Here We Go

Ok, so i think i figured this out. Maybe. So i'm going to try to keep track of some of the things that happen in my life. They will most likely involve, My savior and man. :) hehe. So we shall see if i'm any good at this whole blogging thing.
