I'm Back! :)

So it has been a while. I have a good reason though! I have no internet at my house. :) I'm at mom's right now and using her's. Sooo... Married life is WONDERFUL!! I love having our own little house. I love my husband. It is so fun to call him that. :)

So our lives consist of Work, Working on building our house, Church, and yep that's pretty much it. Exciting huh? :P

I'll try to update more often. No promises though. AND... i will upload Honeymoon pictures eventually. :)

2 weeks!!!

I decided to update the blog while this guy, paints a shelf he made me for our house... :) I love him! I am getting very excited! 14 days... that's all! Just 14! 2 little weeks, and i will be Mrs. Wilson!!! How amazing is that?!? All the little details are getting done and I'm kinda just taking it one day at a time, and trying my best to soak in the moments. :) I still can't believe its almost here! All the weeks and weeks of planning!! :) and then it will be over! YAY! haha... and then Terceira Portugal here we come!! I'm so excited about flying and getting to see the ocean!! It is going to be so fun! And just a smidge scary...

We have been blessed beyond what we could of ever imagined! People have just poured blessings on us! I'm having so much fun watching God work things out! I think I'm getting to the point where stuff isn't all that important to me... I'm so ready for the day to just get here....At times it seams so far away still... and then other times i think "Oh my stars!!! I'm getting married! In like, 2 weeks!!" I am convinced that this is very normal though! :)

Today i got to play with Allison! I had so much fun.. she has started talking a lot more and is just a little tricky... I would turn around and "Where's Allison?" yep i chased her all morning long... But it was a blast!

We are going to Jordan's Grandparents tonight for a fish fry... I'm pretty stinking excited!!! I love his Grandma and Grandpa!!! They crack me up! :)

I really am going to try to keep this more up to date.. especially as the wedding gets closer... but I'm not very good at it... so, you will have to forgive me if i don't :) And i really do promise i will put pictures of Portugal up! When we get home.

5 weeks!

We are down to five weeks! That's 35 days!! I'm so excited! Everything is coming together....the getting there may be a little rough, but its coming together. :) And God is Good all the time!!! Jordan is an amazing person, just in case y'all didn't know. :) I love him so much! Its amazing how God knows exactly who each of us needs. Jordan helps me learn and grow so much. He challenges me to be more, and I'm so thankful for that. I love that we can talk about everything! I can't wait to see what God has for us as we start our lives together... it is going to be an adventure, and I CAN'T WAIT!!!

I have learned so much planning a wedding. I've learned that God does care, about everything! Even the little details like flowers, songs, and ribbon. I've learned that God will always provide just what we need. It may not be what we thought we needed, but it is just what we needed to help us grow. I've learned that a wedding ceremony and all the details of that would have to be one of the strangest ways to start a marriage. :) I think we should just get married... and forget the wedding. JUST KIDDING! A wedding stretches you and bends you and over all stresses you out, but it also helps in the process of two different people becoming one. It forces you to stop all the hussle and bussle and planning and stressing and more planning, and to make a special time just for that person your marring. And that is a skill i'm sure, will come in handy! Because, in the future, as children and other things come along we will still need to make that special time just for us. So, I guess a wedding is a good way to start a marriage. :) I have learned that Jordan is so good to me, even when I'm stressed. I've learned that i love him more everyday, as together we seek God and overcome every problem thrown our way. It has been an experience i will never forget! I have enjoyed it, but I'm ready to be married...and not planning a wedding. Haha...
well i guess I'm done rambling. :)

its July!

and that means we can say next month! Every day It gets more real. It's still so crazy that I'm actually getting married! I'm so excited! life has been pretty crazy, and just a little stressful lately. But God is bigger than any dress, or song! And He is also bigger than Me! Thank goodness! I went to visit with Mrs. Smithson today, i had a great time. She has so much wisdom and i love talking to her. Thursday i get my dress fitted. :) YAY! I'm ready to put it on again!

a little bit of everything

I haven't been a very faithful blogger lately. Life has been so crazy and extremely busy. The past three weeks I babysat Allison. Then there was my 18th Birthday! whoohoo! Jordan got me a hair straightener and blow drier, and a twix and a metal water bottle. My family got me two pairs of flip flops, earrings ( that I have yet to take out :) ) some really good lotion, and a pair of shorts! I had a great Birthday! Then this week is VBS. I am in the Drama this year and that...well... lets just say its interesting. :)
Tomorrow Hannah, Amy, Manda, Brandy, Kytan, Mom and I are going shoe shopping for the wedding! I'm excited! We are going to go eat at Olive Garden and I am super duper excited about that! Jordan isn't fond of Olive Garden so we don't go, tomorrow will be the first time in... oh goodness, months.
We have gotten (I'm not going to say completely cause I'm sure there is something we have missed) done with the little details of the wedding. Like napkins, cups, plates, cake server, pen, etc. That is a wonderful feeling.
We picked up our invitations Tuesday! all 280 of them! Jordan has a LOT of family. :)
We had our first marriage counseling session with Bro. Tim last night. That was good. I really enjoyed it!
Last Sunday the Mullet family spoke at church. They have an amazing testimony and I was so amazed by their lives. One thing they said that I thought was really neat was this: "we are stronger when we are weak then we are strong" and another thing was: "God is in time, on time, all the time."
Well this post is extremely random. :)
I'm going to try to post more often and maybe they will be more collected thoughts and not quite so scattered. :)

Just a post.

I haven't posted in a while. Oh well. I made a list of everything that needs to be done for the wedding between now and August. Mom and Amy helped me. When I actually wrote everything I could think of that I need to do, it is kind of a big list. I love being able to just look at it and know what needs to be done. I have 81 days to get it all accomplished. :) that is 11 weeks and 4 days. YAY!

OH! I think I forgot to put on here that the purlins are FINISHED!!! We are waiting on a few more details about the land, and then we will finally start. :) Our yard is covered in grass. I'm going to have to mow before to long.

Well, I don't really have anything else to say, maybe this is why I haven't posted in a while.

A Rodeo

And a flat. Jordan got 3 free tickets to the Coal Hill rodeo. So Amy, Jordan and I decided to go. Before we left we were trying to decide if we were going to take my car or Jordan's truck. We almost took his truck and then decided on my car. So off we go. We listened to music and talked. We pulled in, showed the gate guy our free tickets, and went to park. Jordan got out of the car and said that we had a flat. I couldn't help but laugh. I don't know why but i find those type of situations funny. :/ So Amy and I watched Jordan change the tire. Then we started walking towards the arena...but it was muddy, and Amy and I are really smart, so we wore flip flops. Yep, Jordan Carried us across the mud! lol it was fun. He is a keeper. The rodeo was ok. The bull riding was lame, but other than that it was ok. I had fun anyhow. :)

Changes

I have to say, that in general I like changes. Good ones at least. But, even good changes can be hard. For example, I love the changes that are happening in my life. I love getting closer to Jordan and the fact that we are fixing to be one. But, I don't love the fact that with that change comes, more changes. Like I won't be here when little every day things happen in my siblings lives. There won't be the long nights of giggling and talking about the silliest things with Amy. There won't be the "Pow wows" with Joshua and Nathan and Amy where we just talk. I won't be here when Mom is in one of her hilarious moods. I won't be here when Dad says the funniest things. David and Joseph will experience things that, yes, I will hear about, but I won't be here. Now, I realize that I'm not moving that far away, but it won't be the same. I also realize that I can come back whenever I want. :) But, I won't have the same closeness that I have now. And, just to clarify, I am extremely excited to be Jordan's wife and start our own family! I'm not sad by that at all. I will miss being in my family's home though. The hardest will be the long nights with Amy. She has been such a blessing to me. I so often take her for granted. I'm so so thankful for her though. Whenever anything is wrong, Am is the first to hear about it. She has such a calming effect on me. I plan on having her over lots!! :) In fact, I plan on each of my siblings coming over lots! Just saying. I'm glad for this change in my life, but like I said even good changes can be hard.

Registering (Bleeping :) )

We went to register yesterday. We went to wal mart first. It was a lot of fun. You hold this little box thing over the bar code and it makes a bleep sound. That is why we call it bleeping. I actually stole it from Daniel, when him and Angela registered that's what he called it. We had a really good time. After we were done at Wal mart we went to get ice cream at that new place across from Wal mart ( i can't remember its name) It was good but not worth how much it cost, just saying. Anyway, then we went to pick up Jordan's ring that we had got sized. Then we walked around the mall a little bit. And, I can't believe we did this, we got Chinese food in the mall at 8:30ish at night! I know, we are crazy. :) But it sure was yuuuummmmmy! I was SOO full afterwards though. haha. Then we went to Wal mart again and Jordan bought me perfume for my graduation. I love him. When we got out at the ice cream place, the sun decided to shine as it was setting, it was gorgeous! Look at God's amazing handy work! This picture doesn't even get close to doing it justice. The colors where so bright and vibrant. It was beautiful!

Just stuff.

God is so Good! In the past week, Jordan and I have been given a refrigerator and bathtub! It has been so neat to see God work and provide for our house! With our wedding too! People have been so generous and kind! Tomorrow is my Graduation! YAY! I'm kinda excited. I can remember going to the very first graduation meeting, and thinking April 30th sounded so far away. Now its just tomorrow. Time really does fly. Speaking of time flying, tomorrow will be 15 weeks until our wedding!! :) That is 105 days! Almost under the hundred point!!

On another subject, I now find myself with a lot of extra time. And, I don't like it. I hate feeling like I'm not being productive. Since I have finished school, I have cleaned the house, and made myself an address book. I think after graduation is over I'm going to touch up the paint on the walls. haha Yes, I'm a little board. :) But I'm enjoying the challenge of coming up with stuff to do every day. Sort of. :)

Last week I started getting up early and doing my Bible study before I do anything else. It has been so nice!! I love talking to Jesus before I talk to anybody else. It really and truly does help with setting the mood for my whole day. I still have a LOT of room for improving, but He is still working on me! I'm so thankful that Jesus never gives up on us. I love the verse that says He is going to work on us until the day of completion! How wonderful it will be to be complete!

Rain, rain, go away

I am tired of the rain. Thankfully the sun is shinning this morning! I loved getting out of bed to the sunshine! But, its suppose to rain some more today. :( Oh well. Yesterday I spent most of the day getting addresses for invitations. It was exhausting! I still have more I need to find. Amy and Jordan were a huge help to me. They both helped me find and write addresses down. My garters came in yesterday!! YAY! Graduation is in four days!! :)

No more School

Yayayayaay!!! I am done with school!!! I am sooo happy! To celebrate Jordan took me on a date! It twas wonderful! We went and ate Chinese. We have decided that Chinese is our favorite, next to Mexican of coarse. :) Then we went and watched Gnomeo and Juliet. It was a really cute movie! I loved it! Then to top it all off we had Ice cream. We had a great time. We talked and laughed and just enjoyed each other's company.

Auction

Wednesday, Dad, Joseph, Jordan and I went to an auction in Oklahoma. It was a pluming business selling out. We ended up getting a lot of stuff. We got all the faucets for the bathtubs for the house. And some other things I can't remember. :) Jordan got a space heater for $6. He was excited. It was fun, except for the fact that I felt so very nasty and dirty after handling stuff. There was no way to wash you hands before you ate !! Yucky!

Odds and ends.

So, we got a lot of little things for the wedding done Wednesday. We now have: our guest book, stuff for flower basket, all candles, goblets, flower petals, ribbon, and some other little things. It was a lot of fun. Jordan got to come with us and we were gone ALL day! It was exhausting! :) We made lots of memories (we almost died lol). We got a lot of good deals too! That made me happy. We got our passports for our honeymoon!! :) YAY!!! Fun stuff! There isn't to much left to do. Just a few more details. Getting closer! :) Lovin' my life! ~me

Shirts

I am so excited!! We got Jordan and the grooms men's shirts and the usher's shirts Yesterday!! Jordan tried his on, he looked really good! And the best part, we got them on sale and then on top of the sale we got 20% off!!! oh yeah! So, the usher's shirts that originally cost $40 cost me $15!!! David's and Steven's and Grant's shirts were originally $17.99 I got them for $10.00 with an extra 20% off!!! Jordan's and the Grooms men's shirts were originally $36 got them for $23. Thank you Lord! That is such a huge blessing. I was so ready to get that done. That's one more thing i can mark off my list! :) Lovin' my life! ~me

A Trip to Little Rock

I get the priviledge every so often to go to Little Rock with Tina Jones. It is always a lot of fun. I enjoy being with her and her sweet kiddos. Tina and David have always impressed me. They are so sweet together. How they handle Breanna and everything that goes on with her, it amazes me. They have such a special relationship with the Lord. It is so neat to watch them. We went to Little Rock for a check up for Breanna. It is such an eye opening experiance to go to Childrens hospital. It really makes you thankful for what you have,little things like: good health, a healthy and WHOLE family, the ablility to walk, speak, hear, and see. I take so many simple things in life for granted! There are so many people out there that don't have those abilities. But, these same people are some of the sweetest you will meet. Little kids you pass in the halls, sitting in whelchairs, they just smile at you. Content with their life. What if we, having so much more in this life, could be so sweet and content? Thank you Lord for the everyday, simple blessings! Lovin' my life! ~me

Jordan and I took Duane out to eat for his 24th birthday last night. We had a lot of fun. Duano and Jordan make me laugh when they are together. :) I, as a girl, have often wondered what guys talk about when they hang out. Now I know. They talk bout food!! :P they talk about other things too, but mostly food. Its so funny! They have come to the conclusion that if we eat potaTOES then we should find the Pota and eat it instead of its toes, cause a pota is bound to taste better than it's toes! And same thing with tomaTOES. Yep they are a bunch of crackers! haha but they are good entertainment! It was a lot of fun. We laughed a lot. :) Lovin' my life! ~me

We worked on the land yesterday and have it all ready for dirt work. I'm excited!!

We got there at 7:30, and took down the fence, then we picked up all the wood we are saving, and moved all the little scrap pieces of metal.
It doesn't sound like we did much, but it took all day! haha

Gloves make a lot of difference when you are trying to role up barb wire... in case any of y'all didn't already know that.

Attitude

Was a spelling word i had today. I find myself having an "Attitude" a lot. Its something I'm constantly trying to improve. One of my biggest attitudes is toward spelling. If anything can get me upset it is spelling. I'm not very good at spelling words correctly.(I'm sure you have noticed) I struggle with knowing which letter is suppose to go where. I usually just miss a word by one wrong letter. It aggravates me to no end! But, if everything in life was easy, how would I learn and grow? Speaking of spelling and school, I have 7 days left in math! I have about a month left in Language and History and Spelling. THEN I AM DONE!!!! YAY!!! I am sooo ready to be done with school! My graduation is April 30th. Its so weird to have my wedding almost completely planned and then try to plan a graduation. haha a little backwards huh? Oh well.

We are going to go clean Grandma's house today. She has been really bad sick and is still to weak to clean such a large house by herself.

So, I had a busy fun day today! I cleaned out my car with Amy. It looks nice now! It was really dirty. Then i went and feed with Jordan. Then we went to get Jordan's Scamp to go fishing.

It took all day to get it ready. We went to get the scamp, then to get a trolling moter, then to put Jordan's check in the bank, then to get a battery, then to get a drink at Sonic(witch we got for free!) then to go finally go fishing! We got to Tig's lake at 5:56. We fished for bout an hour. Nope, didn't catch anything. But, we had lots of fun! After that we went and picked Manda up.. and went to Their Grandma's (Jordan's Dad's mom). We ate supper and then played phase ten. Jordan won. I drank coffee. Jordan's Grandma makes the best!! It was a really fun day!
